He’s a talented South African trumpeter, successful solo artist and a founding member of the award-winning house trio Mi Casa. He is also the newest SA celeb to join the Jetour family as a brand influencer.
Moshe Kgasoane, known to fans across Africa as Mo-T, is driving the Jetour X70 Plus. “Now that’s a real powerhouse,” is what he says about the seven-seater SUV, launched into South Africa nearly a year ago. “It has such a bold look, and its design is striking and beautifully executed, giving it an undeniable presence on the road.”
His fans are also enjoying seeing him arrive in his striking Glacier White X70 Plus SUV. “It has given me a fresh new look when I arrive at shows. My fans aren’t used to seeing me in a Jetour, so it’s something new and exciting for both them and me.”
As a father of three, family comfort and safety on the road is paramount, with the family’s first long road trip in the X70 Plus being a holiday to Ballito for his daughter’s birthday. “What a beautiful drive - effortless handling, comfortable, and so smooth that I never once felt tired. And wow, it just turns so many heads, people love it!” he says.
When asked what some of his favourite features are, Mo-T says the fact that it’s a seven-seater is a huge plus, with his kids fighting over who gets to sit in the back row. He also loves the panoramic sunroof.
When not hitting the beaches of KZN, Mo-T’s typical day starts with getting his children ready for school and preparing himself for the day ahead. “From there, it’s off to meetings, time in the studio, and rehearsals for upcoming shows with Mi Casa, as well as for my live shows. There’s never a dull moment; there’s always something to do”.
Mo-T says that the X70 Plus is a powerful, capable car that fits perfectly into his busy band schedule, his lifestyle, and even his family life. “From a performance perspective, it’s outstanding, whether I’m heading to different festivals, navigating gravel roads, or tackling muddy tracks, the X70 Plus handles it all with ease. I travel to my shows with complete confidence, knowing the car has incredible power, responds effortlessly, and does exactly what I need it to do,” he says.
The next few months show no signs of slowing down, with exciting shows ahead for Mi Casa, as well as for him as a solo artist with Mo-T Live. “There’s a lot happening: plenty of travel, countless hours in the studio, and non-stop music creation. One of the big highlights we’re preparing for is the Starlight Classic, where we’ll be performing with an 80-piece orchestra and rehearsals are already underway, and I can’t wait. And of course, I’m looking forward to arriving in style in my Jetour X70 Plus, a truly amazing car”.
With his soulful trumpet talent, Mo-T continues to leave his mark on the local and international music scene. Living by the horn, he stays active, embraces new opportunities, and approaches each day as a fresh chance to create, perform, and inspire.
